Jets Stadium?

May 18, 2004

Below is an artist’s rendering of the Jets proposed new stadium on the West Side of Manhattan. The stadium would be a rectangle bounded by 11th and 12th avenues and 30th and 33rd streets. Supposedly NYC’s push to get the 2012 Olympics will help the cause. As a long time Jets fan, if it happens, I just have two words – SUH WEEET!

Kerry for President and Long Names

May 9, 2004

This site kind of echoes how I feel about the upcoming Presidential election. It seems like every Presidential election in my (voting) life has always been the selection of the lesser of two evils. The site I am linking to might also set the record for longest URL ever:

http://www.johnkerryisadouchebagbutimvotingforhimanyway.com

It’s almost as long as this town in Wales (58 letters):

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
