I put up some pictures from my recent trip to Mt. Rainier in Washington state. I was out there to climb the huge volcano, which is the highest point in Washington at 14,411′(4,392 meters). Unfortunately my quest for the summit ended at Camp Muir (10,100′) due to a problem with my right foot and a few other concerns. A return trip will happen in the not so distant future to complete the job. On the trip I also got to visit other parts of Mt. Rainier National Park (Paradise and Longmire areas) and the great city of Seattle. The trails around Paradise were especially nice. In one direction you could see Mt. Rainier and in the other you could see the Tatoosh Range. There were also wildflowers and deer everywhere you turned. The picture above is the view of Mt. Adams from just below Camp Muir on Mt. Rainier.
