The famous Rosetta Stone, which has three types of inscriptions on it: Hieroglyphic, Demotic and Greek. It was deciphered by French scholar Jean Francois Champollion in 1822, who could read Demotic and Greek. The significance of deciphering the stone was that it was the key breakthrough in deciphering Egyptian Hieroglyphics.
